The McChord Air
Force Base Officers’ Spouses’ Club is offering OUTSTANDING STUDENT MERIT AWARDS (OSMA) to eligible college-bound high school seniors who are Air Force dependents and SPOUSE SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS to eligible spouses of Air
Force personnel enrolled in degree-granting college programs.
The McChord Officers Spouses' Club (OSC), as part of their welfare program
each year awards scholarships to graduating high school students who are dependents of both military and/or civilians at MAFB
and dependent spouses of both military members and/or civilians at MAFB as defined in scholarship guidelines. Members of this
club volunteer countless hours supporting fund-raising events and services that benefit the McChord AFB Community.
The
purpose of the McChord Community Scholarship program is to identify, recognize, and reward outstanding young men and women
graduating from our area high schools and spouses who are pursuing Bachelor degrees or a vocational certificate. Our program
was established to aid the continued education of students who have demonstrated the highest personal and intellectual qualities
through their superior academic performance. These applicants have also participated in and have led extracurricular and community
activities, volunteered, trained and/or held outside of school employment.
